8 weeks Post-op: Stoma shrinking

Photos shows stoma right after surgery (Right) and 8 weeks post-op(Left) with reduction in side from 1 inch to 1/4 inch. Concerned it might close up entirely before my follow up appointment with Dr. Breyer in April. Emailed his office for a comment.

Changing my urostomy appliance was a bit of a pain as it is always outputting urine which would get on my skin and cause irritation. Solution: make a funnel out of a toilet paper roll. Problem solved! I hope you find this trick helpful for urostomies and iliostomies and even colostomies.
